Just as a quick reminder, our regular monthly breakfast, will be on SUNDAY, Apr. 22. It is on the Sunday, immediately following the third Saturday.
As usual, we will be serving from 8 am until 10 am. The suggested donation per meal served is $5.00.
Come out and enjoy a nice meal, bring family, bring a friend, or someone interested in the Fraternity. We look forward to seeing and serving you!
This past week-end, Northside Lodge lost two of its own, Bro. Jesse Leo Nash, and Bro. William Scites, were called from Labor, to the Celestial Lodge. Please keep Nash and Scites families and friends in your thoughts and prayers. All who knew these departed Brothers will cherish their memories. They truly loved being Masons and lived by our Fraternity’s ideals and beliefs.
MacCoy’s has finally created a page for our own Northside Lodge No. 283 Polo Shirts.
The shirts run about $19.00 (plus S&H) a piece, for ‘normal’ sizes.
It is encouraged that as many Brothers as possible get a shirt, so we can start looking a bit more cohesive during functions. 
This Saturday, March 17, the Florida Masonic Home will hold its annual “Pilgrimage Day”, during which our lodge will also host a special Pancake Breakfast, which, last year was well-attended.
Several events will take place on the grounds of the Masonic Home, including a BBQ cook-out, an antique car show, musical entertainment, a blood drive, Child ID program, and various tables of masonic organizations (including the Selama Grotto, Eastern Star and other lodges).

Bro. Scott Miller was passed to the Fellowcraft Degree, yesterday, Monday, January 23. It was the first degree of the year, and all the officers participating in the degree did a great job! The degree was well-attended, including the sitting Master of Gulfbeach Lodge, and a Past-Master of Nitram Lodge, along with 2 Fellowcrafts, who were first-time visitors to Northside. Gulfbeach Lodge’s own R:.W:. Howard Knapp performed an excellent lecture (as always!), and to W:. Bob Gilliland proffered the Charge. Thank you to both Brothers for their contribution to the degree.
Northside Lodge welcomed R:.W:. Charles “Chas” Jordan, PM, on his last official visit, as this year’s District 21 District Deputy Grand Master. His visit was well-received by the Craft and well-attended. It was his first official visit to Northside Lodge in 2012, with newly installed W:. Steve Culbreath, presiding in the East. 
Our very own Senior Deacon, Bro. Ed Scott, has been added to the Suncoast Masters and Wardens website, as one of the EA-degree Lecturers for 20th and 21th Masonic District. This is a great accomplishment and honor. Well done, Ed! (hey, how’s that FC-degree lecture coming?)

Today, December 2, 2011, just after midnight, our own R:.W:. Mark A. Fowler, Sr., was called from Labor, to the Celestial Lodge.
Masonic memorial services will be held in honor our departed Brother, at Northside Lodge No. 283, tentatively on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
Please keep Bro:. Fowler and his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. As more information is provided, it will be forwarded to you via e-mail and posted on the Lodge website.
All who knew Bro:. Fowler will cherish his memory. He truly loved being a Mason and lived by our Fraternity’s ideals and beliefs.
